A filmy style marriage!!

Recently I have visited a remote place near Srikakulam; the place is pretty awesome, serene and green fields all around. The purpose of my visit was my best friend’s wedding. I frankly cannot describe the beauty of the wedding in my words, and I bet nobody can. It was such a beautiful, charismatic, awesome and grand festival more than a marriage. Perhaps that is the reason, elders used to say that Marriage is the festival that comes only once in everybody’s life.

Believe me all, the wedding happened in a typical, tribal, traditional and village style….approximately 5000 people attended the show, a bunch of 20-25 ladies dressed up and decorated the bride, a big tent (not in a function hall) with coconut leaves was arranged in front of the bridegroom’s house and the wedding went for 2-3 hrs, the gorgeous couple surrounded by all the friends, collegues, amazing orchestra troop, and it’s not yet over, it was just the start. After the marriage, the couple was asked to sit in a Palanquin (Telugu lo Pallaki I guess), some of their relatives carried the palanquin and wandered over the whole village. During that short voyage, all the villagers danced for item songs, oriya songs, fired many crackers (just like the one I used to see during oasis inaug), and played so many tribal games like (karra saamu) and it lasted over the wholeeee night. And once it was done, some more mini games like ring game, and some other game (actually I slept by that time, I cannot describe it in detail). They were given 45 mins of time to sleep and in the morning, they went to all the houses, prayed to God and relatives, took blessings aashirvad and gave them clothes. Moreover, I was extremely elated excited and as usual made so much noise, busy in clicking the poses, shooting the video along with the camera man :P

The thing to be noted here is, I have found humanity in their love because not only they have celebrated their love, but also they have extended that love to the whole village (all the villagers who are suffering badly because of the floods occurred recently, have actively participated, danced, and celebrated despite their problems).

Kudos to the couple!! I have seen such things till now only in reel (I mean movies), but I have noted that such love and such elements are still existing in this real polluted world. And I also strongly feel that most of our marriages are not going to be like this. This post is just negligible to mention the worth of the wedding, U guys must watch it.Such was the wedding. I felt it is exactly similar to the marriage shown in an old movie (Roja).

Random clicks..!!

Don’t get surprised to see all these creative pics.

....Yeah, you are true! :) These are not clicked by me.

One of my rich friends bought an amazing camera Canon T1I recently. I am blissed to receive these photos ... when it comes to chocolates, random pictures like this; ..my resistance is futile J that's why I just want to share/publish on his behalf here.

Actually, I have never seen such fantastic snaps with so much clarity and it's pretty clear that the Canon T1i's image quality is so impressive and amazing, delivering more detail than most of the 12-megapixel cameras on the market.

I hope everyone enjoy this.

Cheers!!

Good News :P

I m so much elated after a long time!why because, it happened!every time I start worrying if not it happens, but this time finally it happened!I don't have words to express my gladness. At this moment, so many phrases scribbling my mind like "woww...!is it true? omg! I m so lucky, even though I did not work for it, it happened!thank you god..."guess what? my face has got rid of 2 pimples :) :) yippee!!!

and yeah finally i watched anjaana anjaani on last sunday :) thanks to Shobha, she booked it for me in Satyam cinemas! and coming to the movie, I don't know why the movie has got such a bad rating or I really wonder why it has got so much negative talk, some told me it's pretty monotonous, have to bear full movie seeing only Ranbir and Priyanka face! it's hilarious to listen such comments.. definitely this thing is expected in a love story, the movie has got a tag line "strangest love story" and name is anjaana anjaani..so obviously the story must lies in between that 2 characters and moreover in a love story it will be comic, if the story focuses or gives importance to other people..the director has not deviated audience anywhere, he justified the title :) that's what i suppose!!forget about the story, i frankly agree that sometimes I am not sure how to decide a movie whether its good or bad., I was desperate to go and watch the movie only for Ranbir!!seeing ranbir'saction/comedy/dance/romance everything is seriously a feast to my kind of gals!i mean fans!and the reviews/gossips about the movie could have caused me to put low expectations, which turned me to like the movie, anyways the ultimate thing is I liked it :) and I feel it's worth watching !

for a change!

What a day it was!For a change, imagine yourself cleaning an entire large flat all alone with no one's help!!haha, sounds very difficult right? I never know how to clean my room or frankly I never touched a broom stick in my life till today. Our maid was not coming to clean our flat since last 5 days and now it was literally dirty and if you stay without cleaning it for one more day, I bet you that u will go ill. Usually, my maid takes 2 days off in a week but this time complete 5 days, and moreover, she is asking for hike.. since today is a holiday, we just thought we will clean everything. And out of 4 of us, 3 gals had decided to clean the utensils + Kitchen (indeed it was a tough task) and I was left to clean the whole house. I thought it was a quite easy one and got broom stick :) My flat is really a big one with one lobby+2 wide bedrooms+1 store room+1 hall+1 kitchen. I had swept out all the rooms and I got surf water to clean the floor :) omg! I successfully ended up in cleaning all the rooms in just 1.5hrs while the other gals were still washing the utensils! Yippie….If I tell this to mom, she will faint in surprise :P I am so happy, for a change, started doing good things!

My Mistakes!

I have been pondering since so many years about a peculiar side that exists in me. It is nothing but I do mistakes but I generally I don't think it as a mistake. Our elders used to say that by doing many mistakes, u may discover a solution, a thing or a probably a miracle. I am struggling why it is not happening with me! I am still confused what an attitude I have? I spent my life in doing mistakes rather correcting them, when I try to correct them…err!!my soul says..common!it won’t happen..we shouldn't brood over past mistakes!! (only this)..it won’t say “don’t repeat them in future”..if it happens again…Err!I don’t have answer to this…and it will be a new mistake again :)

And yeah, all the mistakes I make/made/will make (:) :( ) were/are/will be stupid!!

One day I was travelling alone in a bus to Pilani from Gurgaon at night…I know that a girl should not dare to take risk, even though I did not stop… I always prepare for the best :) instead of preparing for the worst J!!Bus got broke down at a remote area, it was 8.15 PM and it was raining :) I went by a sharing auto to some place and caught a bus then. Thank God, nothing worst happened!

Is it a mistake?or an accident? Am I wrong as I did not prepare for the worst?

One day I was going to Mumbai Central mall, I left my bag where my wallet+ipod+my mobile phones+ATM cards+my collections near security thinking that no body steal anything from security… :) unfortunately, I lost my wallet and when I gave a complaint, there were no cameras to find out the thief :) Enjoy!!

Not once, many times I booked movie/train/bus tickets on a wrong date :)

I go on recharging a wrong mobile number (I usually forget my number). I go out in the nights to have Pani Puri/ice creams/pulpy orange :)

One day, my roommate’s friend came to spend her weekend with us. She put her mobile in Jeans back pocket and while sleeping, she hanged that pant over a window..the time was 1.30 PM..the mobile went and got dropped on the top of another window in second floor where we stay at 3rd floor. Since its beyond our hands, we got a stick (not to pick it :)) to pull it down to the ground floor! And my roommate was ready with a long stick to pull.. NOTE: The mobile would go and drop in the parking area at ground floor after pulling..so, we got a big bed sheet, went down to ground floor, jumped to parking side, opened that bed sheet and said “Get Set Go Start..Pull” she moved it… :) unfortunately, we could not see the mobile any more, it went and fell on some other side, broken into several pieces!!I am the big culprit here.. I only gave all these ideas!

I happily sleep while traveling no matter on what mode (bus/train/flight/auto/bike) I am traveling I just sleep..some times, it will end up in reaching a wrong destination

One more about my mobile here :)

http://coolhoneyhere.blogspot.com/2008/12/tragedy-of-my-mobile.html

lost my id card :)

http://coolhoneyhere.blogspot.com/2008/12/height-of-stupidity.html

Recently I lost my wallet again, my chappals and the list goes on...

I open all the ways to lose my things! I guess I am very careless/stupid… I don’t know :(

Some many of my friends tried to change me, tried to make me understand, worried for me, lectured me,..All these things happened not once but many times, I learnt so much and I m enlightened enough to be careful!! I don't know where I am going wrong? Is it my fate? (big dialogue) but I cannot stop the things that are gonna happening!!

The purpose of this post is not to meant I am wrong, I do wrong, it is just a sharing of my strange character :)

In spite of all this, I just enjoy my life!!I rock always :)

cheers!

Citybus ~ small journey

Believe me, it will be hilarious to all those who are gonna read it, but it was pathetic time I had one day...

I never waited for a city bus for more than 20-25 mins in my life. but, on Friday I had to go home by bus which would start at CMBT, pretty far from office. ..if at all I have to take an auto/cab I am damn sure that they will charge me up to 1500 bucks :P which costs my to & fro journey tickets. no other option, I chose to go by local bus..So, I waited and finally glad to see it..and entered into the bus after taking enough breath.I was totally annoyed by seeing the huge/large/immense crowd of people there.. Thank god, I took ample breath while entering which make me alive for at least a couple of mins. I wondered I at least did not have enough place to stand/sit/move or take breath. I never expected this in 570 bus because I heard that the frequency of bus is very rare, it takes 2 hrs to reach CMBT from metikuppam and there won't be much rush, moreover it's AC Volvo Chennai/not B'lore.

One guy asked me to move..oh bloody hell!where, where should I move?I just told him to stand/sit on my head, but i was lucky this time I did not have luggage, usually I carry at least one bag to home every time I go/come from. My legs were paining, my head was spinning and the bus is like fish market.with one lakh and twenty thousand people..few were hanging, few were fighting, few were chitchatting, few were sitting on my head..but people people people..full of people everywhere, every corner..I was vexed of standing there, i was looking sadly at one guy, but no dice, he told me that he wouldn't get down early..So, i decided to listen some cool and melodious songs
--dil kyun yeh mera...la la la... Err!!i did not feel like listening, so forwarded it.
--behne de mujhe behne de...oops!again forwarded..
--uppenantha ee prema ki....again!forwareded...

I did not know...i did not feel like listening to them, may be the song frequency was not matched with the bus..now next song was zoobi doobi...remix!yippie..seemed good and matching frequency..bus was noisy, remix songs were jazzy and i was drowsy. mean while i noticed one guy about to step down, waah!i grabbed that seat and finally i got a place to relax and lay down..as my primary motto after stepping into bus was to catch a seat..I was elated as it got fulfilled some how..

so such was the journey..just 1 hr and 15mins...thoda irritating thoda disturbing..hahaha!!

Go green Pune :)

Yesterday, when I was on my way to home from office, a stranger stopped me all of a sudden. Actually I was carrying a plastic bag contained vegetables/eatables, he explained me that there started a policy at Pune recently. The policy is something like, if a person using plastic bags are caught by the Cops, then they have to pay Rs.500-Rs.1000/- bucks as penalty it seems. He asked me to hide that plastic bag with my shawl or to put it inside my hand bag. I was not surprised as I heard my roommate saying me this. I just wipe off all this things thinking all these are not been followed and nobody is been observed/caught unless I am caught once. After all,we have only one life, so I never care about all these rules.

Once, I have also noticed at Reliance fresh near my office, there is board showing "Carry your own bags and double your points in card". This create awareness among people not to use them, as they create hazards to life and banning it not only saves the environment, but alsoit brightens nature. Anyways, I am happy to see this kind of activities at Pune, as they inspire everyone not to carry plastic bags. But sometimes I am bad, I cannot desist myself when I am lack of my hand bag or my own bag!!

gift from Google

Being in a Support Project, today I had to come to office (of course on every saturdays). As I am wetty, I am just seeking all the possible ways to kill the time…in eating some guys brain, wandering here and there, checking the scraps in orkut, and when I got vexed of all this..I just decided to download some games and start play…

So I opened Internet Explorer..and as soon as I saw the homepage (I feel everybody’s homepage is GOOGLE), I am spellbound.

Here, Google gifted me this.. :P! It has customized the home page with a playable PAC-MAN logo to celebrate 30 years of the legendary game.

I know most of you love it, I do..Pacman is my favourite game. Thanks Google…

Guys who don't have it and still wanna play it, hurry up!it won't last anymore :)

Kudos Google geeks, you rock!!

Cheers

Thoughts of the day

  • Our lives should never be measured by the richness of our success, but by the wealth of our hearts!!
  • Everyone we have ever loved, becomes a part of who we are now. Time never takes the precious things away!!
  • Taste from life's simplest joys, for they bring sweet pleasures to the heart!!
  • Today and in all your days to come, believe in your heart that everything is going to be all right!
  • Be positive, dream big, concentrate on what makes you happy and build yourself up!!
that's enough for now :) :)

:(

Not every bad mood has a reason, not every bad reason makes a bad day!
A day with few expressed words like
Good Morning!!
Wats up??
Take Care.. but with many unuttered words compelling my mind into pensive mood;
I know I can feel bad when I get in a bad mood. Or...
Because it may not be a bad time, I may have to feel happy?
I don't know :( I am not very sure! I am mad!
In reality, there are good and bad times, our mood changes more often than our fortune
Certainly, it was an (un)easy day!

Friend..

Sometimes in life, you find a special friend ..

Someone who changes your life
just by being part of it
Someone who makes you laugh
until you can't stop
someone who makes you believe
that there really is good in the world.

Someone who fights for you
to stop your tears
Someone who promises you
that everything goes well
Someone who gifts you
a sweeter and beautiful life

Someone who directs you
the right way to solve the problems
Someone who convinces you
that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it...

Weekend masti..weekend thrills!!

It's really a long time I was rolled out of laughter this weekend. We had a sound and exciting plan in order to treat my roommate’s friend who is coming from Hyd to Pune.

On Saturday Afternoon, we first went to Mc Donald’s; as usual had a yummy combo food there and moved to MG road for shopping! Now this MG road has got a hell number of shops which tempt all the gals to buy more n more things. We roamed over only a few shops and done with our shopping as we did not have much time. Next, we started to a place called CHOWKI DHAANI (an ethical Rajasthani village) which is 15kms far away from our home. We are total five in number, as we dint book any cab before, we had to go by an auto-rickshaw to save our time. We reached at around 6'0 clock in the evening!

It is located in a remote place called wagoly, and we need to go very inside of that place. Then we started worrying about going back from there. As soon as we entered, guards welcomed us with funny sayings Ram Ram Sa..Ram ram Ji..

As the name meant, Chokhi Dhani –" a small beautiful hamlet" , has maintained its rich art, traditional look and culture image with its host of Folk Dances- Ghoomer, Kalbelia,Bhopa Bhopi,Chaupal, etc….Village Artisans too show case their skills with the depiction of Kumbhar, Lohar, etc… There are many things to enjoy, so we planned to complete covering all parts in exactly four hours and we had to leave by 10 P.M sharp.

We had a great fun there; we went to camel riding, horse riding, horoscope, magic show. We had jeera juice, tasty snacks, and colored tattoos. We played many games, swung on cradles and had mehandi. The interesting part is Rajasthani typical dances. Their dances are completely traditional and

It will not be worthy and complete if I miss describing about the delicious food.

Generally, Rajasthani curries seem brilliant red but they are not as spicy as they look. The people use pure ghee to make the most Rajasthani cuisine as the medium of cooking. A favorite sweet dish called lapsi is prepared with broken wheat sauted in ghee and sweetened.

for them perhaps the best-known Rajasthani food is the combination of dal, batti and churma but for the adventurous travelers like us, willing to experiment, there is a lot of variety available.Be it dal batti and churma or missi roti , one always ends up licking his/her fingers. Besides, each region is distinguished by its unique popular sweet - Mawa Kachori, Alwar ka Mawa, Malpuas, Rasogullas, Ghevar to name a few.

For foodies like me, I am always fond of eating food cooked in ghee, cheese, butter and milk and they are famous for its mouth-watering aroma. But the people who serve food there makes our tummies scream No more!! But they won't stop!!

We were too exhausted to go back, we were pretty scared as the time was 10.30, we have to go till Station and we could not find any auto rickshaws outside. We ran to reception and pleaded them to arrange a cab. Finally we got a six seater auto-rickshaw which drops us till main road. But fortunately we requested that uncle to drop till Aerwada from where we can easily get transport to Station. The uncle is pretty sweet as he could chase a bus for us which goes to our home directly :) :)

That's not the end!

I will certainly come up with another post to jot down the Sunday’s feats!!

Cheers

A New girl in the City

Till now, in my 22 years of life, I have been to many villages, towns, cities and even metropolitans!!
now its again the time for me to roam over one more - Its CHENNAI.

Since my childhood whenever I heard the word Chennai, the words that come into my mind are: Illeds, Idli-Dosa, Dirty roads, Merina beach and Arrogant people.

But when I came here, it was totally amazing, the city is just awesome..the climate is moderate, drizzling sometimes..
I have not been to many places, but I could say that roads are good, please forget about traffic.

Frankly speaking, I am supposed to stay here for a couple of weeks and learn the project thoroughly.Despite, on the very first day, stayed for few hours and ran to Tirupati :) , from there to home!!

Illeds is the word which we used to call Tamil people at BITS (referred Bitsian Slang) why because they often use a word "Ille (=NO)".

The food over here is not so tasty/yummy, but I say it's interesting and good for health :P Hope I gain weight during this short tenure.

Merina Beach: I remember that I fell down on the sand dune at merina beach when I was in my 2nd standard. (great memory power), Will go there this weekend.

And yeah about people:
yes they're arrogant of their relations.
yes they're crazy in aiding others.
yes they're stubborn at completing their tasks.

Especially I would like to thank few persons
1.Cab uncle/driver
Thanks uncle for bearing me for an hour or two.
We had a long conversation where I spoke to him in Telugu/hindi/English, but he knows/understands/speaks only Tamil :) :)
just imagine how funny it will be.huh?

2.Swetha-cognizant
hey thanks da, I neither know her nor she knows me, I met her in Koyambed, she is worried thinking how would I reach my guest house :) :)

And I have jotted down to visit many places like Central (am a shopaholic), Mc.Donalds, Seashore, famous Temples etc..defintely I will visit them inspite of any encounters.

I hope I will enjoy my trip here.

Cheers!!
